ATB have recently been selected to appear on a couple of compilation CDs, and we thought we'd let everyone know where they can get more info if interested...

Powercast Radio have put together a collection of their 2006 chart-toppers, entitled "PCR Pimpin' The Bands". This collection features some great Canadian indie bands, including some good friends of ours. Our song 'Soul Deposit' is in good company.

We are also proud to be listed as one of the top 20 unsigned bands of 2006 at AlternativeAddiction.com, posted here. AlternativeAddiction.com releases compilations of the bands they feature, and our tune 'Never You' has been included in their latest release, "The Addiction V.9" - you can check out the full track listing and order information here.

Our song 'Soul Deposit' has been receiving some amazing reviews on GarageBand.com, and as a result it will be featured as Track of the Day. For 24 hours on Thursday, the 1st of March, 2007 (PST) 'Soul Deposit' will be featured on GarageBand.com's Modern Rock front page. You can check out our GarageBand.com profile HERE.

Special thanks to all who came out to our show at The Rivoli in Toronto last night. We always have a blast hanging with our hometown crowd! We've been hard at work behind-the-scenes, editing the video for 'Never You' and getting ready for a couple of cool shows in December. A rescheduled show for Peterborough and a first-ever stop in Burlington. Should be cool - hope to meet some new friends. We recently took some photos with the one-and-only Ron Boudreau. The results are pretty sweet - check the Promo Shots in Photos for a preview, and check back as we'll be adding more soon. Cheers!

AtB have been nominated for 'Best Alternative' in this year's Toronto Independent Music Awards, which will take place on Thursday October 5, at The Phoenix Concert Theatre. Official Site

Last weekend, we shot a video for the song 'Never You', at an old movie-house here in Toronto. It was a totally cool experience, and judging from the amazing team we had working with us and the small bit of footage we actually got to see on the monitors, it is going to turn out awesome! Stay tuned for more details on a release date and some behind-the-scenes photos, which should be up within the next week or two.

The best part about having finally shot the video is that it frees us up for more gigs, which we have started booking diligently. We're happy to announce that we'll finally be returning to London Ontario on Friday October 13, for a gig at The Salt Lounge with our pals ABANDONED SOULS. After that, we'll be hitting The Circus Room in Kitchener on Friday October 27 and The Hype in Brampton on Saturday October 28, for a Halloween matinee bash, being promoted in part by our good friends at Radio3x.com. See our gigs page for more info and stay tuned for more listings coming soon.

Thanks to all our friends who came out and supported our spur-of-the-moment appearance at Toronto's Silver Dollar room, on September 7. We had an amazing response to some of our new material and we look forward to seeing you all again at our next Toronto show!

Ah friends... Thanks to all of you who showed at Revival last night to make our CD release a truly unforgettable party. For those who missed it, we're sorry you couldn't be there... Revival was ram-packed and the vibe was simply electric. We had such a great night and played one of the tightest sets we've ever played.

Not only was the night a roaring success for us, but we also raised tons of money for the Cardiac Kids charity and hopefully raised a bit of awareness for a great cause. Hey everyone, hope your summer is going great! We're hard at work in pre-production for our full-length album, due out this fall. The tunes are sounding great so far, and we hit the studio on August 13 to start tracking. We'll be posting any news about the CD release once all the dates and details are confirmed. In the meantime, we are planning to revamp the website. If you haven't subscribed to our email list and want to be the first to know about any news, drop us a line at fanclub@allthebrightness.net. Saturday April 30, ALL THE BRIGHTNESS rocked Toronto's El Mocambo, bidding a final farewell to their faithful followers as they sequester themselves away to write and record material for their debut album. Fans were treated to an energized set of rockers, old and new, so explosive that by the end of only their third song, Nick's brand new amplifier suffered an electrical meltdown, rendering him guitarless for their debut performance of 'Blanket of Bliss'. Kevin and Pete kept the rhythms flowing and the audience seemed to enjoy the impromtu 'drum and bass' remix of the song. The night ended on a high note, with another brand new tune, the potent 'Beautiful Massacre' - complete with a verse from 'Dust In The Wind'. The almost-cancelled show allowed the boys one last chance to stretch their legs and thank their fans before they hole up to produce what promises to be an incredible full-length release. Visit this website for all the news on what ALL THE BRIGHTNESS is up to. There will be a few private shows this summer (to be announced), as well as some VIP engagements which will be by invitation only... All in preparation for a huge CD Release Party for EVERYBODY!!
